Le nomination ai Grammy Awards 2015, i premi della National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences, sono state annunciate nella giornata di venerdì 5 dicembre, prima a CBS This Morning da Ed Sheeran e Pharrell Williams e poi in altri programmi nel corso della giornata. Un annuncio che fa già gridare al record per Beyoncé: la diva di Houston ha collezionato 50 candidature dall’inizio della sua carriera, superando la regina del country Dolly Parton, ferma a 46, e diventando così la donna più nominata di sempre ai Grammy.
Tra gli artisti più nominati nelle categorie principali ci sono Katy Perry e Beyoncé con rispettivamente 4 e 5 candidature, i Coldplay e Taylor Swift a quota 3, le new entries Sam Smith (ben 6 nominations), Iggy Azalea (4) Meghan Trainor (2). Grande assente Lady Gaga, che si accontenta di un’indicazione per l’album jazz Cheek To Cheek con Tony Bennett nella categoria Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album.
